On developing and testing a building performance evaluation approach for India

OBU and CEPT University ran a one-day Learn-BPE train the trainers workshop on Building Performance Evaluation, as part of Newton Fund Sponsored Learn-BPE project with TERI. The event was held on 15 October 2018 in Delhi, and was attended by 35 delegates from academia and industry. Two recent graduates of our MSc Sustainable Building programme – Shashwata Joshi and Sajal Singla presented findings of their Learn-BPE dissertations at the BPE workshop. Maaz Dixit from CEPT University presented the results of her Mtech dissertation conducted as part of the Learn-BPE project.

OBU and CEPT University ran a 3-day Learn-BPE Winter School on Building Performance Evaluation, as part of the Newton Fund Sponsored Learn-BPE project with Manipal University, Jaipur. The event was held from 11 - 13 October 2018 in Jaipur, and was attended by 40 delegates from academia and industry. Two recent graduates of our MSc Sustainable Building programme – Shashwata Joshi and Sajal Singla presented findings of their Learn-BPE dissertations at the winter school. Maaz Dixit from CEPT University presented the results of her Mtech dissertation conducted as part of the Learn-BPE project.

The I-BPE framework developed and tested in this paper can be applied to green, new, existing or conventional buildings - it is flexible and customisable.
